They would dispute this. The Left doesn't know itself.
"The further (you mean 'farther') Left you go the more anger there is."
They thrive on being more ready to spot a problem than the more moderate people in this country, and more ready than anyone on the Right, who are so damn stupid they can't recognize a problem to save their souls. Thus, "Left is smart, smarter than centrists, way smarter than conservatives (who are all imbeciles, of course)."
It goes back to the heirarchy of goodness, on top of which all leftists live and from which all leftists draw their meaning.

I'm pretty angry. You're pretty angry. Dennis Prager is angrier than both of us, but that's part of his job.
ReplyDeleteIn all, I think anger is a huge part of the Right's schtick, and only a small part of the Left's.
Look at the public face of the Left. It tends to rely on humor more than anger. Is there a leftist equivalent of Michael Savage? His real name is Weiner and he changed it to Savage and he makes a living playing to the sadistic side of people.
Prager isn't anywhere near that bad, but he's very angry. Even in his happiness hour, he injects a good deal of anger. Anger directed at unhappy people.
